Is your team operating with little or no coaching? Parent or alumni volunteers? Part time assistants? Or are you simply seeking more professional knowledge of how to train your crew? Welcome to the Virtual Performance Director! A performance director is NOT a replacement for your coach on the water; their responsibility is to plan and develop all aspects of the training process and provide clear training guidelines and instruction on how to complete the training process

Each VPD membership begins with an in depth introduction to Coach Woods via a Zoom chat. Essential to this process is active goal setting and laying the groundwork for what we want to accomplish together with the full team. After this, Coach Woods will develop a long term training plan for you and your team that will carry you through the coming season. Coach Woods will work directly with you and your coaches to ensure that your training plans mesh well with your existing training schedule and time available.

  • Detailed training calendar for the extent of your season with all workouts provided

  • Access to Coach Woods’ Training Doctrine document

  • Access to Coach Woods’ Technique Document

  • Automatic membership in the Virtual Video Coach Program and bi-weekly video review sessions

  • Team Goal splits based on test scores with goals splits set for all workouts individualized by athlete

  • On-Call Access for team coaches, or athletes to answer questions about the training program
